Available from May 01, 2025 to the end of June 2026 with the possibility to extend. Your room is located on the 1st floor of a spacious half villa (30s house of two under one roof), in a quiet leafy neighborhood. The room measures approx. 4.50 x 4.50 m with a beautiful view into the greenery of the front garden and the oak trees in the street. There is plenty of cupboard space, both for hanging and shelving. There is central heating and the radiators can be operated separately by you. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, in case someone stays overnight with you. Furthermore, a comfortable armchair (IKEA) and a desk with desk lamp. (see photos)Your room has a spacious and large balcony (more like a roof terrace!!) on the south, to sit or eat outside in the summer. The front garden has a terrace, which you can also use. On the first floor is a toilet that is used exclusively by the tenants. They take care of the cleaning in mutual consultation. I myself use my own toilet on the ground floor. Cooking: You have your own kitchen unit in your room with double induction hob and cabinets and shelves, located near a balcony door, so that you can ventilate well, because of food smells. You have your own, private (mini) fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom has a washing machine for communal use. There is free parking space for cars on the street. Your bike is safely parked in a rack of the front yard. Front garden is closed off at night by a large gate. Distance to Science Park University of Utrecht is 20 min. bicycles, but there are also buses. Supermarket (Jumbo) is a 5-minute bike ride away, as well as the shopping center (Slotlaan). With the express bus line 73 you can get from the bus stop to Utrecht station in half an hour Centraal.Er a loan bike is available for the renter. Who is this room for:For a quiet (young) lady who appreciates privacy and tranquility. It doesn't matter what time you come home at night, as long as you are gentle and considerate of your fellow residents. House rules: no smoking, not even in the garden (and no incense), no pets. Preference for someone with a Vrijeschoool/Waldorf/anthroposophical background (but this is not a must). Rent: Everything is included in the rental amount, including Wifi. No further costs. The reason the room is available for a woman and not for a man is because the other tenants prefer it that way and I respect that. So men: unfortunately we have to look a little further.
