Den Oever also has a large bus station with direct connections to, for example, secondary schools in Schagen, Wieringerwerf or Hoorn and also to, for example, the large data centers at Middenmeer.

In the case of multiple interests in the same home, a combination of financial screening and/or family composition and/or social/economic ties with the region may be decisive for the allocation. In case of a tie, the registration date (date of return of the registration form) will be leading.
