The neighbourhood comparts mostly of low and broad terraced houses.Amsterdam-Zuidoost is served by bus, metro and NS railway services. Railway stations Duivendrecht, Diemen Zuid and Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA stations are in the vicinity (+/- 4min cycling distance). These stations have also metro stops at the station. Metro lines 50, 53 and 54 serve the area. There are quite a few restaurants in 10-15 min walking distance. So, eating out will never be a problem. With the Amsterdam arena area (around bijlmer arena station) you have an international entertainment and event area in the vicinity. The biggest cinema center of Amsterdam and 3 concert halls are located in that area. All on 10-15minutes walking distance.For your daily groceries shopping there are a couple of shops on 5 minutes of walking. On 10-15 minutes of walking there is a shopping center (Amsterdamse Poort) and also a furniture mall (Villa Arena).
