The Voorstraat is looking for a new roommate! We are looking for someone, preferably between 24 and 26 years old, who is working, doing a master's or doing a PhD. In addition, we are looking for someone who wants to come and live with us for at least two years. Unfortunately, the room has an income limit of up to €28,375 in 2023 or 2024 and an age limit of 26 years (and 364 days). If you do not meet these conditions, we kindly ask you not to send an e-mail. The room is about 30 m², has a loft and its own sink. The rental price is about €700 plus the service costs which are around €130 euros. Rent allowance is possible, so that the final rent can be a lot lower. The room is unfurnished and will be available approximately from April 16. The house is located in a beautiful spot on the canal in the center of Delft and has 16 rooms, spread over three floors. Each floor has its own kitchen, bathroom and toilets. On your floor you live with three others (both men and women) and you share the facilities. Downstairs we have a large hall, where parties or theater performances are occasionally organized. Adjacent to the hall is a garden with a covered veranda. The AH is around the corner, the station is a 10-minute walk away and the TU Delft district is a 10-minute bike ride away. The residents are between 20 and 70 years old, with a median of about 28 years. We don't have mandatory dinners or drinks, but we do like to organize something fun every now and then.
